It has an unpronounceable name, you twitter-er.

And don't forget the ability to add any RSS feed to your stream. If you follow someone on Jaiku you're really following everything they do on the net.

It's the comments that really make this work so much better than twitter

Be able to view all comments, not just those of your friends. No need for auto updating bots, like Leo said, you can add feeds. Twitter is very "my group only" and Jaiku allows for much more discovery of ideas and people. I think that there is a place for both Twitter and Jaiku, they are complimentary and not the same thing.

The ability to add feeds actually encourages content creation. Always a good thing.

I'm a big fan of the "grand unified theory of me" approach that puts all my feeds in one spot (hence the Jaiku presence. Whether anyone actually ever reads them is another matter entirely ;)

Jaiku has no direct private messaging that I can see, Twitter does and it can be nice.

I'm pretty sure nobody ever reads my other nine feeds. :)

Ah, the fun of time travel. The Jaiku servers are in Finland, and in Finland, it's tomorrow.

I might be able to leave comments here (from the Opera browser on the Wii), but I certainly hope no one can see how low some of my Warioware 'SmoothMoves' scores are. This 'point-and-shoot' typing can only help!

You could've always deleted it and reposted it instead of posting twice
